Western park open before 9am?

Hi, A group of 7 going from south wales, planning on leaving early hours Friday. I've read and been told by friends that the campsite is open before 9am, is this true?

If we get there say 7am will get in earlier or will we likely face a wait till 9am?

We usually arrive around about 8.30 and there are always plenty in there before us, get there as early as possible as the traffic is crazy.

We arrived about 7 last year and they wouldn't even let us in the car park! Going to be mayhem this year, the M54 is down to 1 lane both ways

All the times I have been we have been allowed in the car park early but had to queue to get from the car park in to the campsite until 9am ish!

They always let you in early, anything from 7am on-wards depending on traffic. As these days traffic round site is rammed from 6-6.30ish on-wards so they have to get that off the road.

Think last year we were parked and through gates about 8.30am

Edit - they seem to let you in carpark at any time but it's getting into campsite that's 7am on wards

We r leaving swansea at 5,minibus dropping us off, every other year we have been we have driven. How far away is the drop off point to the campsite?
