VCK
Kings Of Leon, The Prodigy, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters and The Killers have all drawn the largest crowds I've seen. Kaiser Chiefs also got a pretty decent turnout, both in 2006 and 2009. It seemed packed for Radiohead at first but that was because they closed one of the two entrances to the Main Stage so there was a bit of a bottleneck. I recall that out of the three headliners in 2009 they had the smallest crowd, and a fair few people left halfway through their set. evilduck
Rage at Reading was massive. We started walking back during Killing In The Name Of to beat the crowd, and it was still packed all the way to the back.

foolee
I can't remember either of those being particularly big, I suspect a lot of what we think is very much based around the area where we were stood
Dan R
The prodigy was absolutely rammed. We were at the front and tried to leave but the crowd was pressed right up to the food vendors around the sides and right up to the back of the field. Didn't see KoL but as i was leaving Kaisers cheifs huge crowds were pouring into an already pretty packed field, meaning I could easily get right up close for Faith No More! Bigjonyr
Judging by the John Peel tent at this yrs Glasto ( I think it's the same tent they use for NME) Bastille are going to be pretty massive. This coupled with the more target audience at R&L could lead to some squeezy times!
mrtourette
I doubt it'll be the biggest crowd ever, or even the biggest in the tent, but no doubt they'll be very popular this year. And I don't think it's the same tent either, certainly not for Reading.

VCK
Metallica drew the smallest crowd out of the three headliners in 2008, I remember getting a decent spot near the front about ten minutes before they came on and didn't even have to fight my way there. mrtourette
I can imagine all three headliners got pretty big crowds that year though.
Mariner
Blink in '10 was rammed.
lharris92
blink there was plenty of space - and we were probably 10-15 meters behind the barriers. foos last year was rammed - well behind the screen/viewing platform and hardly that much room to move. Areophobia
I was at the back of the golden circle for Blink 182 at Reading and it was rammed. Scary actually. Looked like a Hillsborough at one point. Don't know how "big" it was though!

jump
Probably the densest crowd I've been in was Chili Peppers, I don't know if it was or not put it felt like it from the front.
Areophobia
Will anything from this year contribute to this I wonder?

Benj
I thought the Blink crowd was propely massive and I was a fair way back. perhaps behind the Sound Tower thingy, by the speaker tripod things No one around us left. Just checked a video I took, we were just behind to the right of the sound tower, the place is utterly mobbed Edited August 20, 2013 by Benj
Areophobia
Possibly due to the other stages finishing early.
