Amazing. Beautiful, even...

it certainly was brilliant - apparently it rained at some point.

Levelllers can do heavy rock - who'd have thought it! 'Devil horns, devil horns!'

Highlights were Levellers, Headmix, Subgiant, Arrested Development, Lancashire Hotpots, Melosa, Hobo Jones, Bar-Steward Sons Of Val Doonican, and surprisingly Clannad.

Sinead O'Connor I just didn't get - how to kill an opening night party!

It's such a good weekend, its grown a bit over the years, but to just the right size.found an old photo booklet from circa 2003, with a intro in it by mark, saying they hoped it would become an annual event. Certainly has been a highlight of my summers for more then a decade now, long may it continue.

Highlights for me, as always the levs plus gaz Brookfield, subGiant, mad dog McRae, clannad, hobo Jones, viv Albertine and the green valley and time shared with friends and ruthie.

A highlight for me (apart from all of the above) was Rodney Branigan, in the Bimble Friday. He plays two guitars at the same time, one with each hand, plus percussion. Unbelievably good. There's some video on YouTube, not from BD but gives you an idea.
