Yeah like half an hour late. Everyone near us was chanting 'where the fuck is Beyonce' to the tune of a white stripes song I can't remember the name of. It was the duuuh da da da da duuuh duuuh one :-P but she was great. We were close ish but moved back with 20 mins to go as my girlfriend was feeling ill and I wanted to look after her...being the great boyfriend I am ;-)

Yeah that's it :-P yeah everyone booed but the crowd went bat shit crazy when she came on :-P anyway no more posts tonight as I have duties to attend to........:-P plus we are still knackered from V. I'll talk more when I can im glad most people had a great time and I think I'll be looking to go again next year. Might see about Volunteering with Big Green Coaches next year if my girlfriend doesn't want to go. Night folks

This was my first V Festival (Hylands) and I had a great time. To be honest I was very worried about what the crowd would be like but they were absolutely harmless, maybe because most of the bands I saw are not that pop/mainstream... The worst were probably Tom Odell's fangirls :P

My highlights were, well, TDCC, who played their new single live for the first time ever, Jessie Ware going onstage with Katy B (mainly because I didn't manage to catch her own set, unfortunately), obviously Beyoncé.

Yes, I booed at her too when she left us waiting 20 mins under the rain, but as others have already said she was incredible and in the end it was worth the wait. I don't get people who complain about the costume changes: she's Beyoncé, not Oasis, even if it was just a festival she put on a full show with dancers, interludes, etc.!

I got to the front row for The Heavy (fantastic), Reverend & The Makers and Tom Odell, then saw the Vaccines and managed to get to the second row (guess I have to thank Calvin Harris for that) for KoL, who were just perfect.

Might go to Stafford next year if the line up is good!

I had a great time and now I have started my journey home from my girlfriends ill be able to post more like usual. I'll try do a review or whatever in the review thread but I had a great time at V and I have the V blues...I want to be back there but I might have to wait to next year or downgrade to IOW fest
