gooner1990
I'm now 32 and was camped in Orange A and apart from another few camps dotted about it was mostly 16-19 year olds.....not that I'm bothered, I was that age once! When we got into the arena there were plenty of people around our age, which led us to wonder where the more mature festival goers were camped?! Given the re-jig of the arena, I wonder if now Orange will be a youngsters camp. What's White like to camp at? Quiet? Still like it to be lively but would rather not be surrounded by teenagers!! Babyquack
Nah, I saw a fair few older people at Reading this year to be fair - I'm led to believe most were camped in Brown/White. Being camped in Brown myself though, this is utter bollocks as I saw not one person over 25ish there
lharris92
campervans/pre set up tents/white most likely.
thetime
Do they not have a quiet camp site anymore? Or is that download?
Com Truise
I'm 17 and I felt old, everyone around me looked about 14, and that's not an exaggeration.
Muppetmark
white was filled with people from my school and other post gcses. the elder people were day ticket holders or had hotels etc.
gooner1990
Well I saw quite a lot of older people with weekend wristbands, and I can't believe they were all in hotels or quiet camping! Anyone who camped in White got an opinion on it?
atomised
I was in green, had a fair few in their 30s and 40s round me
Benj
I've been staying in a hotel since 2005, when I was 28, so fair play to you for hanging in there for so long!

dentalplan
You just need to play some Republica on a portable stereo and they swarm over.
Mariner
29 here. Went with my 31 year old mate. Camp in white every year now. It's usually really quiet but this year the camp filled up and the security were filtering people in to white to camp so it was much more lively. Personally can't stand anywhere else these days. The idea for me is you get battered in the arena/somebody else's tent then go back to the peace and quiet, not have your tent jumped on by a bunch of 16 year old loud mouth fuckwits. Andy_47
Green had plenty of older people. Same last year (Leeds).
suckitandsee
dont think there was anyone over 18 in red, but there was no trouble really. there was a fight near us and they fell on one of our tents and snapped it, but thats it
Gucci Piggy
On the Monday morning a group of lads in red chanted at me to get my nob out, and then threatened to rugby tackle me into the mud when I refused. They were all like 4 years older than me. I was a little creeped out. I just stumbled off in a drunken haze to the toilet.
BooBooKittyF**K
I am 30 years old. 10 Reading since 1999. Camped every time and I was camped in Green, near road G6. Loved it.

shoptildrop
I thought Leeds has been getting an older crowd over last few years, this being no exception. As someone who has been staying in hotel since 2008 believe me shuttle buses and hotels round city centre are always busy so think you might be surprised how many people do hotel it. I'm 39 btw and there is no way in hell I would camp at Leeds but this is usually due to fact have done V the weekend before as well for last 5yrs (except this year) so 2 w/ends on the trot would actually see me off!! kemosabe
i will be 18 next year and if i come back to Leeds i think i will go to brown with all the older campers! I think the idea of a chilled out environment to actually sleep seems quite nice!! Obviously i would spend my time down with everyone else and then go up at night
devilman
At 47 I'm fucking ancient compared to all of you! I was of course in the campervans where it was pretty quiet. If I was camping at Leeds it would be in brown. The state of the tents closer to the arena was awful but not a patch on T in a bad year.
