Lineup 2015

Yup, seen them 3 times this year without even trying, (we were already in at live at Leeds for black moth and Courtney Barnett)

Always seems quite odd to me when people buy gig tickets of bands they've seen recently or festival tickets because of bands they've seen recently. I know loads of people do it but it just always seems more appropriate to me to go see acts that I haven't seen or haven't seen recently or something.

I try and prioritise bands I've never seen before, but if I really enjoyed an act I see no harm in going to see them again. I knew QOTSA at Reading would be basically the same as their arena tour for example, but they were just so bloody good I'd have happily paid to see them play the exact same setlist as Birmingham again. Plus different atmosphere at a festival and stuff. I'm probably going to see Gogol Bordello at Rock City because they were so good at Reading, should get a longer set and there will be more people there.

But yeah I'm not that fussed about seeing Royal Blood on this tour. Just wait for the one early next year :P

They were great at download, where did you see them. Why don't you go see them on their own tour coming up? Would definitely be easier to get tickets..

because really he wants to see Royal Blood but won't say so in as many words

when you put it like this I'm not too bothered about missing out, seen them twice this year just would have liked to have seen them again is all, but other opportunities will definitely arise :)

I'm only going to see ADTR again this year (for the 3rd time somehow) because my best is a massive fan and I'm a big fan so it'd be fun. I know loads of people that want to go anyway so it be good fun. Royal Blood is a bit different though as at Leeds the crowd where I was standing was dead (I was even in the front section and the crowd was a bit compact) and I couldn't get over to the other side (also my mate was feeling ill so it'd been a bit useless anyway). Anyway most of the bands I want to see are cheap (Happyness £6, The Wtyches £8 etc)

But to be fair I might being seeing Marmozets for the 3rd time this year and all of the time it has not been intentional that I go and see them

I'm getting ADTR tickets on Friday. First time seeing them at Leeds and it was incredible. So seeing them in a venue as small as Rock City will be even better. I got Machine Head tickets for there too the other day, and Gnarwolves at The Rescue Rooms in Nottingham. Both should be fun crowds to be in :D

I thought they were better at Leeds but that could have been due to the fact that by time I got in the cloakroom was full so I had to put this big jacket round my waist all the time and my mates were too

To be fair you'd have to have been desperately unlucky to miss them playing the same sets this summer and similarly so to miss them next summer. Wouldn't be too down about it.

Yeah but my experience of them at Glastonbury was stood at the back of a tent at midday, completely sober, knowing 3 songs. I wanna go see them in a 900 capacity venue, knowing every song, get sloshed and get mosh mosh.
