Truck or Camp Bestival I guess. Relatively safe for young first-timers but still with good music. Althouh not sure there is much in the way of 'other things to do' at Truck, there's a childrens area but he'll be way too old for that. Possibly be the same at Camp Bestival, I've never been there.

I've only got Kids On Glass House playing In Gold Blood in full and the Kids In Glass Houses final show.

But Im planning Marmozets & Lonely The Brave, Tonight Alive, New Found Glory, Gnarwolves, The Blackout and Kerrang Tour

I considered Tonight Alive just to see Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! But then I realised the closest shown to me was Leeds.

I was walking down the street in Newcastle today and walked past a geezer wearing a Tool t-shirt and thought "Oh that's cool", and then 10 minutes later I was in the speakers department of Fenwick and it had fucking Tool blasting through the shop. This Tool fan was nowhere to be seen, so I don't think it was his doing.

Then on the train home I was sat opposite another geezer reading a Tom Waits magazine.

These events tell me that Tool and Tom Waits have sufficient current, mainstream appeal to headline, and will do so in 2015.

Cheers, WP x
