It's a commercial mainstream music festival aimed at teenagers and early-twentysomethings, of course the attendees are going to be mainstream-friendly teenagers and early-twentysomethings and therefore will have the fashions and muscial tastes as mainstream-friendly teenagers and early-twentysomethings. A lot of people who went to the sort of festival that has had Arctic Monkeys as a headliner twice like Arctic Monkeys? What a total fucking shocker. I'm absolutely amazed that the audience at R&L isn't made up of 40-something DM-wearing New Model Army fans.
