Asdaprice
Lady Gaga's huge popularity and you have failed to acknowledge this? What of it anyway? Not trve and kvlt enough for you and your ultra masculine Linkin Park? I thought it was only popular with the same 13 year old girls that listen to one direction and Katy Perry - my bad - it must be great.... mrtourette
The new Gaga album is pretty good actually. I like Sex Dreams, the one with R Kelly on it & the single that's been out a while. She knows how to put on a show, too.Can I rescind those birthday wishes? I expect shit like this from the hipsters but not from you.

I'd like to put it out that I don't do the thing where you "like" major pop artists because you can't be a proper hipster unless you defy hipsterism with some ridiculous selection. the wonderwhy
Can I rescind those birthday wishes? I expect shit like this from the hipsters but not from you. To be honest I've always said I have a broad music taste- I was subjected to everything from Rage Against The Machine to Kylie Minogue by my dad when I was growing up. I've had to listen to A LOT of pop for the student magazine (I spent hours listening to Rihanna for one article ) and Gaga is one of the best I've had to deal with. That's not to say I'm a proper fan, I just don't detest her music like I do Disclosure/Chase and Status/fucking Blink

dentalplan
How can someone detest Disclosure? I don't personally like them much but I find them too inoffensive to harbour any hatred towards them.

I don't personally like them much but I find them too inoffensive to harbour any hatred towards them. I mainly hate the hype they get/have. I find it totally unfounded. Its exactly the type of music I dislike though. (Detest is probably too strong a word, admittedly )

But I don't wanna see Metallica ever again even though it seems plausible. Pretty sure Florence & The Machine or The Black Keys would take the Friday spot. Maybe both. FT's playing much bigger venues than ES have done. Assuming they both have new albums before then. I also cant see Arcade Fire still touring in 2015, Reflektor will be almost 2 years old and they never seem to tour for that long, especially now Win and Regine are parents. Tobieski
Interested. Recommend me their good songs. They've got two EP's out: 'Cat and Mouse' and 'Devils Fruit'. Romance Dawn in my favourite track, on the Devils fruit EP. Got a proper classic rock sound to them

justanothername
Can see A7X, Frank Turner and Pendulum as subs next year. Headliners I'm not so sure about but I can see Arcade Fire and The Prodigy but if we are going to ditch the 5 year rule after Blink it would be Muse, but is mainly because I want to see them
