supreme
I think it's more likely Noel will do V again but it's possible. If Libertines do play, I can see him being a strong sub. Or is he headline material with his second album?
jump
If Libertines do play, I can see him being a strong sub. Or is he headline material with his second album? That's working on the basis The Libertines would headline.
justanothername
First Highfield Festival (Germany, mid Aug) announcement includes Interpol, The Wombats, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, The Menzingers and Danko Jones, and loads of German bands obviously including the headliner so no more headline clues there. Interpol heading up NME would be pretty cool. I'd be happy with Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly and The Menzingers (especially if Greg bring his little brother Bobby along with his band)
Superunknown
If Libertines do play, I can see him being a strong sub. Or is he headline material with his second album? He's in that sort of limbo where he'd be a strong sub but a weak headliner IMO. I can't see him being any higher than sub at R+L though. nickybu
Interpol headlining NME would be awesome! What are the odds of Porcupine Tree playing this year?

mrtourette
What an odd question.
nickybu
I knew the answer was no, but was still curious. As far as I know, they've never headlined R&L and this year were supposed to have a 'new' headliner. Would have been the best headliner in the last couple of years. nickybu
To be honest I'm pretty hyped to see Refused till now. And Metallica will be good too. Last year (and I'm probably the only person who felt this way) but I loved having Blink announced. Hoping for some decent headliners to join Metallica this year. kaosmark2
Porcupine Tree are pretty tiny. Think of the sort of venues they play. They wouldn't be near the mainstage let alone a headliner...

C.Lister
I reckon Papa Roach will be on the bill again in 2015, they seem to be doing a lot of festivals next year. It wouldn't surprise me to see them headline or sub in The Pit.
