kemosabe
Why are you watching that crap? Is the more important question support of BBC's Music. I try to watch as much as possible same with football on the BBC. Also Catfish and the Bottlemen are on later and its nice to reminisce about the popular music this year. supreme
I know this isn't probably going to go down well, but I was just thinking. With such a odd bizarre booking such as Macklemore, maybe we could see the likes of Ed Sheeran?
lightning1000
I know this isn't probably going to go down well, but I was just thinking. With such a odd bizarre booking such as Macklemore, maybe we could see the likes of Ed Sheeran? 3 nights at Wembley stadium means it ain't happening. As well as the reason that they wouldn't book him regardless
the wonderwhy
Yeah, whilst Macklemore is fucking atrocious, he's (unfortunately) massively popular the people that go to R&L, unlike Sheeran.

Bet you Ed Sheeran would still pack out the main stage... lots of 16 to 18 year old girls go to Leeds fest
GodlikeYeezus
Bet you Ed Sheeran would still pack out the main stage... lots of 16 to 18 year old girls go to Leeds fest Completely agree, he's blew the roof off my twitter feed and 50% are looking to go to Leeds Fest or have been
supreme
Yeah that's the main reason I pointed it out, he would pack out the main stage. Teenage girls for some odd reason love him & that's now the main demo graph
GodlikeYeezus
Yeah that's the main reason I pointed it out, he would pack out the main stage. Teenage girls for some odd reason love him & that's now the main demo graph It's not the main target, in fact R+L have much more than the one group of girls to please or else the three headliners would not involve Metallica or the other rumored suggestions. It's a difficult festival to get 100% right because the people that go are all completely different but yeah Ed would pack the main stage and so would many others that aren't for the 'girls with short jean shorts'
justanothername
Ed Sheeran will not be booked for R&L in the foreseeable future
dentalplan
They don't book acts like Ed Sheeran in such prominent slots now and the festival still sells out. Just because R+L attracts a less alternative crowd nowadays doesn't mean it needs to pander.
supreme
This girl on my timeline on twitter posted: The next reading lineup needs to be Drake, Schoolboy Q and Oasis... Pretty varied selection
thetime
Coldplay must of passed the baton on to Ed sheeran.
Gucci Piggy
Im watching the BBC Music awards. You guys are music fans... can someone please tell me what it is that makes one direction so popular?? They are clearly the biggest band in the world right now and I feel im missing something here, to me they are nothing better then any of the other boy bands.... I don't get it? Catchy, accessible pop music performed by an extremely marketable group of people.
Andre91
Ed Sheeran will be headlining festivals on his next album, he could probably do so now. I still can't get over his Wembley stint. I don't like his music, but the boy done good.

Where is Matt anyway? He hasn't posted in two weeks.
