Lineup 2015

Catfish just sold out a tour of 2,000 cap venues and are only getting bigger and Ed is a headliner for sure, just not at Leeds, maybe at V or T In The Park but not at Leeds

I agree. He's not anything at Leeds.

And yeah, Catfish sold out an Academy tour but I imagine the NME headliner would be bigger than that. They'll be high on the NME but I don't think they'd headline.

Hmmm possible sub, they've sold out two nights at Shepherds Bush Empire and the Glasgow show moved to Barrowlands to satisfy the demand. I feel they might take a punt. But I see your point.

the 1975 had sold out bigger venues than The Barrowlands by this time last year and they only subbed. their album also did better.

I stand corrected, got him confused with Bugg, but still, he's a typical example of "let's have some random mainstream act"

Especially if we have some form of more mainstream headliner like Mumfords, but Ed won't be playing this year for the same reason Foo Fighters won't be, too many stadium shows, doesn't need the festivals

Bugg fits in more with R&L than Ed Sheeran

Nah, I think a lot of people are over exaggerating their popularity, The 1975 were far bigger this time last year. Could Sub but even then they could play 3rd

did this in my spare time :)

just to say these aren't neccesarily in the right order in places

Nice but Alt-J are too low (especially not a chance in hell they'll play below Royal Blood), Two Door will be main stage, Clean Bandit 99% will be at V this time, London Grammar and The 1975 are going away for a bit, and Metallica are playing the Saturday at Reading.

Some placings are off but not that bad, but I have to say that Two Door Cinema Club are a sub though

Fairly good prediction in my opinion, Run The Jewels will be Dance Stage, Clean Bandit could do V instead, Two Door are a good fit for second stage headliner considering Bombay have been third sub on main stage before and then headlined second and I wouldn't have em bigger than Bombay

RTJ won't play the dance stage because they're not a dance act. More likely for 1xtra or NME and Two Door are bigger than Bombay

Yeah what justanothername said about RTJ, dunno where you got Dance Stage from for them :P.

Two Door are bigger than they were last time they played, and they headlined NME then...

Two Door headlined (or were at least booked to) Latitude whereas Bombay were a sub, though. I don't think there's a lot in between those two really, they've both had similar slots at other festivals, played similar venues and had similarly successful albums.

Ghostpoet played the Dance Stage, and Willy Moon played the 1xtra stage. I'm not sure the organisers actually have ears or anything.

Also justanothername, headlining Latitude means nowt. Foals headlined it the year they played 3rd down at R&L, and The National headlined it and wouldn't sub.

Fair enough

Also I don't think The National are going to be back at R&L any time soon anyway, but I still think Two Door would sub if they played

Subbed ;)

Anyway their fact that they were booked to headline Latitude is enough proof about them being able to sub

I have in my head they billed Justice/TDCC as co-headliners but I think it may have just been that Neil mentioned them as that in the run up to the announcement in 2012. Google is being really unhelpful for finding anything about the 2012 announcement. The 2012 line-up thread is a pretty funny read though. 'OMFG Vaccines playing third down WTF' ad nauseam :D

Yeah Neil said that TDCC were headlining when he added them to the rumours page, but I don't think they were ever announced as headliners.
