I dunno. I did think that but I am pretty sure Foals will headline 2016 and I wouldn't expect both to headline considering how weak a lot of people will perceive either of them headlining. Also I don't know what they could do next year that wouldn't hinder them headlining in 2016.

A Vaccines/Foals co-headline would work, though, and that's what I was thinking before they were added to the rumours page for this year.

Actually good or relatively good?

Both. Well I thought so. I found a couple of songs were reminiscent of Pixies or The Bends era Radiohead and it was all pretty heavy on the 60's surf rock throughout. I know there are fuck loads of bands out there still putting out college rock but not many in the position The Vaccines are in really.

The Vaccines are about as shit a band to have come out recently, but they're doing pretty well. That said, I'm wondering just how big they are.

They haven't done a full scale arena tour yet, so it'll be interesting to see what they do when they come back.

Either sub headlining the main stage or headlining NME I reckon, I think there's a pretty strong chance they'll play next year

it doesn't seem they're on best terms with the Pendulum DJ set guys, so they're probably done for really.

+ Rob pretty much explained how much he despised the entire experience of touring as a live band w/ Pendulum, but yeah, I wouldn't expect to see Pendulum at R&L soon, if ever.

I like it, your choice of headline/sub headliners on the main and NME stages are good and a few could happen. A few too many bands too low down on the main stage and a few too high up on the NME I think for it to happen, but it would certainly be a great festival.

Why are they not on the best of terms with the Pendulum DJ set guys?

Someone asked the Knife Party guys how they feel about the other dudes touring and making money off of Pendulum's name with the DJ set when they were the 'production brains' behind the act. They replied "[comment redacted]" which wasn't actually a redacted comment otherwise you'd be able to tell, but it suggests that they're not able to speak on it but they're not best pleased. That's how I took it to mean anyway unless I completely misinterpreted it.

Plus what jsmurphy said which is even more critical really.

Basically Rob Swire who founded Pendulum is annoyed two ex Pendulum blokes are using the Pendulum name to promote themselves even though they have nothing to do with the band (its split despite a rumour of a new album) or the original Pendulum DJ set Swire was a main part of.
