AM were announced for T in the middle of November, can't remember when they were announced for R&L but it was later than that wasn't it?

Yeah they were the first T announcement but the second R&L one, so about 2 months later for R&L

Ah was gonna say, I remember AM being T's first announcement and thinking like "Surely they won't be announced for R&L straight away, now".

Forgot they had a Nov announcement last year, was thinking their first one was Feb again.

Hopefully we get our other headliner on Mon, then, and hopefully it isn't Mumford.

And yet how many R&L headliners have played Glasto in the same year? This list isn't spectacularly long.

It might happen this year, but saying "surely it has little effect" is a bit presumptuous.

Everything I say can be seen as being presumptuous as I'm judging things with no knowledge of running a festival however it is not what I ment to sound like.

However I stick by my point which surely it will have little effect compared to sharing with T,V, IOW ect... Who haven't sold out. However I take yours and DPs that the lack of shared headlines suggests that melivin does take it seriously

Stop saying surely! You're right that It will have little effect on that year, but that last thing they want is for their headliners playing Glastonbury to become a regular or expected thing. Headliners are usually the main ticket-sellers and it will reduce sales in future years if people don't buy R&L tickets because they think there's a good chance a headliner they want to see could end up at Glastonbury. If he can foster a belief that R&L headliners don't play Glastonbury then people won't hold out buying tickets on the off-chance that band could be at Glasto.

Nothing will be better than that for me. Metallica are my absolute favourite band and it was so unexpected, I was absolutely buzzing haha
