I can't see any bands that have been announced as a sub headliner unless royal blood or Bastille could be under metallica ??

We think that both are third. I think lucky said something like he "can see BMTH and Royal Blood both on on Metallica day" (correct me if I'm wrong) so maybe BMTH still to be announced, and to sub Metallica?

What do you mean 'still'? It's a press release, not a live document, they don't go back and edit it.

The joke is it being on there in the first place, must be one of the most short-lived exclusive claims.

Can't wait for Royal Blood to be announced for a festival in May or September and the ensuing argument about what counts as Summer.

About 30 acts out of all that I'd like to see, at this rate, once everything is released, I doubt I'll be lucky enough to even get half of that, that's how little confidence I have in the last announcement now after how shit yesterdays was.

BTW do we have confirmation that Bastille, Royal Blood and Jamie T are our 3rd's? And nobody answered yesterday but do people REALLY think that Alt-J are big enough to sub? REALLY?

Apparently Bastille and Royal Blood were confirmed as third on the radio yesterday, but Jamie T isn't confirmed.

And yeah. They've supposedly been offered an Other Stage heaine slot at Glastonbury which is as big a slot as subbing R&L.

Chances of The Replacements getting added? Just announced a show over here in June.. If it goes well I can't see why not?

There's a big gap between the start of June and the end of August, so they may not still be in Europe by the time R&L comes around.

Also now that the Lock Up has gone I'm not sure that R&L is going to be such a natural home for ageing/reformed punk(ish) bands.
