I've just seen the worst twitter conversation ever.

Person 2: "they're like Crossfaith, but women"

Me: *Facepalm*

Funny thing is once I saw a poster for the 2013 line up were someone got rid of all the names of acts who didn't have women in and Crossfaith were still there

It took me the entirety of their set last year, and a fair bit of time afterwards to work out whether their drummer was a man or a woman.

The Wombats have just announced Ally Pally. How have they managed to maintain such a fanbase despite a) taking ages between albums and b ) not being overly great in the first place?

Why don't you just make accounts, talk in here all year round and find out as we do- rather than swooping in at the end, expecting to see all the bands.

Brand New is now doing shows over here from the 10th of September, is that too late for them to be over here for the festival season anyone? With basement in tow it'd make for some great additions

We think the shows rule the out, yes. It's unlikely they'll just sit in the UK for two weeks doing nothing, waiting for their shows after playing RandL. You never know, they do owe the festival one after pulling out before, all we can do is speculate.

Where do you think they'd fit?
