I don't know, didn't Eminem have a pretty ridiculous stage set-up the other year? Radiohead did in 2009 as well.

Eminem did have quite a good set, but not incredible for a headliner of a major festival. This news definitely sets the expectations high, and it would be a 'change' that is overdue. They've used more or less the same staging for a while now. Can't wait.

I meant Metallica's own screens. The festival ones are shit in comparison, esp in portrait mode like they have them

They don't really even need to replace Tyler. Could give deadmau5 another half hour or some shit and add the difference to the set up time. It wouldn't be Foals considering security would have enough of a job on for them to play that tent secretly to sober folk at lunchtime, never mind at 9pm while people are trashing the joint at Libertines.
