Gonna post this in parts ;)

Part one: preparing (unfortunately no shit pictures this part :'()

This was very late minute, on Wednesday I had made someone an offer for a ticket (money going to charity) and it was accepted, so I went and collected that on Friday, all I needed to do was arrange transport, after looking everywhere, I finally found someone who knew my mum who was offering a mini bus there and back on the Saturday, brilliant!

Was pretty weird as I had to get everything ready on Friday cos I left it that late!

On Saturday I woke up and got everything together (put my phone and iPod in a sandwich bag incase it rained, dunno why or how that invention came along)

I went to Southend to get my mini bus, we were told it might be a double decker bus, so I was looking out for one, I got a call from the lady who told me they could see me, turns out it was a small mini bus to my amusement

I got in and it was time to make my way to V Festival 2013

How exciting.

Part two: Buslife and Pigeon Detectives

Getting off the coach,I felt it, I felt that v atmosphere, it occurred to me I would actually be there any minute.

I walked in, bought myself a lanyard (and a burger, but you know that was a given since its me) and headed towards the 4Music stage to start off the day.

On the way I was headed a pair of 3D glasses, had no clue what the purpose of them was other than me looking slightly like Elton John, I still don't ;)

null-142.jpg

I arrived at the 4Music stage at about 11:10, what more can I say, I like to get to the front ;)

The pigeons stuff was on the stage all ready.

null-141.jpg

Now I must admit, I'm not really a fan of Pigeons, they aren't my type of music, so I wasn't sure what to expect.

The screens came on and I got excited for some reason, it sorta sunk in that I was finally there again, after missing it so much (I'd happily have one a month ;))

On they came to the stage, singing their hits, I must admit, I think they had an inkling why the younger ones at the front were there, but they were trying their very hardest to entertain us, and if I'm honest, it worked.

null-139.jpg

The frontman came to the front of the stage and poured half a bottle of water over himself before throwing the rest into the audience, hence lots of laughing from everyone.

I really admire the frontman, he is really funny and entertaining, I did feel a bit sorry for them having to perform to half an audience that didn't know any of their songs and were there for Conor, so I tried to pretend I knew the words and mimed the chorus, I failed.

We were then told that they wanted to make the tallest audience, the first thing I did was look at the security guards faces who were shitting themselves.

Most of the people climbed on each others shoulders and had a laugh, as you can see from some of their facial expressions, they were really enjoying the pigeons.

null-140.jpg

At the end of their extended set I was pumped up and ready to enjoy the festival, they really got me warmed up, next stop #Conchellthereunion ;)

Part Three: The Big Reunion

Before I move onto Conor, I dunno how I forgot to add this, but the drummer threw his drumsticks out into the crowd, guess which lucky bastard caught one ;)

null-137.jpg

Right moving on, I really should explain about 'Conchell'

Last year I saw Conor in the now defunct Undercover stage, he was great, but he saw I was one of the only boys in the crowd, so kept turning and smiling at me, it wasn't just twice, it was like 7 or 8 times.

Now I must admit I wasn't 'interested' in Conor until then, when I told my friend Emma what happened, she gave us the nickname 'Conchell' which made me laugh, so I still use it some times if I'm explaining a situation involving me and Conor ;)

Now that's out of the way, time to see Mr Maynard again, ever since I saw Conor last year I've really wanted to see him again, since then I've watched about 4 or 5 online performances, so I knew what songs to expect (and as a big fan of the album I knew quite a few of the lyrics)

The stage was set, we were just waiting for the man himself, I made friends with a few of my fellow 'Mayniacs' in the audience.

null-136.jpg

The music videos and adverts stopped, it was time, Conor walked on to cheers (mostly from me tbh, I get over involved)

null-133.jpg

He started off with recent hit Animal, before performing Take Off and my favourite Vegas Girl.

null-132.jpg

I didn't take that many pictures as I was way too busy fangirling, and I decided I'd rather have a few good pictures and enjoy myself than loads of pictures and not enjoy myself ;)

null-135.jpg

I must admit, I think people underestimate Conor's voice a lot, people assume because he has that fanbase, he can't sing, but actually he has a fantastic voice and always gives a good performance.

After his cover mash up of Don't You Worry Child and Get Lucky, Conor finished on Turn Around, which showcased his voice perfectly.

Conor had certainly impressed me for the second time live, definitely wanting to see him again soon!

So two acts down, I had a chance to stay for Lissie, but I fancied a bit of comedy, so off I headed to the comedy tent for a bit of Eddy Brimson.

Part Four: Surprises and Comedy

When I get in the comedy tent and sit down Eddy Brimson is on, now Eddy seems hilarious, I've never heard of him, but his jokes are very risqué but I love them.

After various jokes about Savile it was the end of his set, on came the MC, I actually liked this MC, last year when I saw Sean Lock the MC was unbearable, this one swore a lot and told us all to shuffle in because of the next two acts.

Next up was Katherine Ryan, now I love Katherine, I always watch her on Channel 4, loved her Nicki Minge impression on Let's Dance so was very excited for her, just a shame most people were there just for Izzard.

She comes on stage energetically, talks about her child, which was hilarious, she seems a genuinely funny person.

During her set Josh Widdicombe just wonders in and stands in the crowd just randomly chilling, which is hilarious

She then thanks everyone for coming and says goodbye and enjoy what you're all here for Eddie Izzard, which was quite sad, as I was there for them both.

The MC came back out and got us all excited for the next act, Mr Izzard himself!

Eddie came out and told plenty of jokes, historical figures, Canteen fights between god and darth Vader and many more were said, after a long set he said goodbye, but came out for a 5 minute encore which was hilarious, you can tell the energy he had

As soon as he finished everyone run off, I was on my way off but saw someone at the side of stage, Eddie had come round to chat to a few people. Me being me, I run off to the side of the stage, I asked him for a photo, he got someone to take it but it turned out blurry so he got another one taken, honestly he's such a great guy!

(ignore the double chin and grin, he told a joke,I laughed and double chin occurred ;))

The plan was to stay and watch Shappi Korsandi and Josh Widdicombe, but at the time I needed food and music, so I went off to try and find someone to watch.

Part five: Teapots and waving pussies

Now you know I take pictures, so I hope I haven't disappointed you by the misleading title, I definitely have not got pictures of that (didn't go near the Saturday's)

Now that's out of the way ;), I walked out of the comedy tent starstruck as anything and caught the end of Katy B's set, not that I'm fussed by her, I mean I can't even name two songs of hers aha, anyway moving on from slagging off Katy B's music, I fancied food.

Now when I say I fancy food, I'm not far from the truth, if men weren't my preference then food would be.

There was only really one option for me,and that was Mark Owen, quite a late minute decision (to see him, not to eat him) so after some chips I went to get a good spot for my 4th favourite member of Take That (let's face it anyone's better than Howard)

Now when his set came on, envy filled me, I remembered that he managed to get Alan Carrs stamp carpet at the end of last series and apparently it now tours with him, I did consider jumping over the barriers and running off with a rug, but I think I'd probably fail.

So Mark came on, and I realised how badly dressed he was, he looked like he'd been at the wedding of Colin and Justin 1and was running late for V so decided not to get changed.

I will try and get a picture of him off my iPod, but I dunno if any came out good.

He came out and sung shine which gave me hope that he might do some Take That stuff, na just that apparently.

It made me realise how much of a good song it was before Morrisons got their hands on it.

He then performed some songs I didn't know but I tried to enjoy myself, he was very amusing though, swinging off of supports that keep the tent up, chatting up a teapot and a waving cat, you know, the essentials for a stage show

As soon it started, it was over, goodbye Marky, now I have to make a decision, see Labrinth or go and get a spot ready for Jessie J, since I've already seen him, I decided to go and get a good spot for that evening, next stop Jjjj Jessie J.

Part Six: Late to the cinema club

So I was a bit early for Jessie, so caught the end of of Two Door Cinema Club who were very impressive, randomly a group of people dragged me over to be in there group photo, I don't know why, but I did it, I have no clue who they were as I hadn't even spoke to them, but hey, that's why I love V!

So I got in position for Jessie J, seem everyone else had the same idea, hey ho ;)

Jessie came out singing price tag, made me remember why I was there, cos I actually do like her album :D

null-125.jpg

I can safely say, I really like her hair now, I didn't like it at first, but it suits her a lot.

null-127.jpg

(sorry for the distance, I didn't realise my iPod had zoom on it until Sunday :P

Us at Hylands had a little treat, cos Jessie is from Essex, she decided she would unveil the name, release date and art for her brand new album Alive.

I immediately messaged it to my friend on Facebook who adores Jessie J.

After a few hits she performs "Wild" for BIG Sean's part it was on the screen him in the video, now when Dizzees part came up he didn't come on the screen, I was screaming in my mind wondering whether Dizzee was coming on, 5 seconds later he's on the screen, got excited for nothing!

null_zpsbc4a5deb.jpg

Oh well! She performed Domino before leaving us, next stop, her fellow The Voice coach (my third I've seen live) Danny O'Donoghue and his band The Script!

Part Seven: I *think* Danny might be drunk.

So part 7 is here ;) even if it's been 2 months :P

Now I must admit im not a huge fan of the script, I watched their performances on T In The Park and Big Weekend this year and they were pretty good, I mean I only realised that they had enough hits to fill the set whilst watching them.

I thought they have Hall of fame, for the first time, man who can't be moved and Breakeven, but it occurred to me why they were subbing V Festival 2013.

My personal favourite from The Script is Six Degrees, but they never appear to perform it, so I was ready to be disappointed ;)

The time flew by and it was time to see The Script, the background had been taken down and 3 screens were there (with the Beyonce stuff behind which made me scream a lot :P)

null-123.jpg (my photography skills really getting good here)

Danny kept getting down and singing with the crowd, at one point he actually climbed into the crowd, which didn't get the best reaction from security

null_zps44cd4fa3.jpg

Danny came and got someone's phone who had phoned an ex and continued to sing nothing to them, we then all shouted that he was an arsehole, thank god none of my exes were in the crowd ;)

null-119.jpg

I did wonder whether Labrinth would join Danny like at Big Weekend, turns out he did

null-114.jpg

I wasn't too keen on The Script before, but I came out a fan! Can't wait to see them again (if I do)

I'm very excited for Beyonce now, after so long desperate to see her, I was about to do it finally!
