GuitarManDan15
Would festival republic go back to him after that disastrous Big Chill show? I know he's a bit bigger now but its was a pretty big flop and the festival has not existed since. I remember getting official tickets the day before and it not being that busy Edit: It was also a weird show, decent setlist but lots of nonsensical ranting Edited September 6, 2013 by GuitarManDan15

thewayiam
I had planned that post all the way through reading the thread, and you go and post it on the second to last post. Brill. Anyway, PLEASE not the Big Chill lecture from Gazza. I can't handle it again. Finally, Kanye shitface. ps. Has anyone mentioned he's a c**t? Gucci Piggy
Will, you realize the original Kanye Big Chill point comes from Neil on here? I didn't pick the info up from anywhere else. I took jack all interest in the fest really.
Sparticus
Kanye would be huge! The big chill show not shifting tickets can't be counted, the day tickets were £80, and the lineup other than Kanye didn't have a big draw. Tobieski
Kanye would be a big and popular booking, the fact is he just won't play Reading and Leeds. I'm glad this thread exists so the exhausting Kanye argument can rage here instead of the 2014 thread. mbt
In seriousness, after Eminem this year I wouldn't be surprised if they went after another rap/hip hop headliner. I think V Fest will get Jay-Z next year (Although, Reading could get him if they wanted to) but Kanye could be an outside bet. He has grown a heck of alot bigger since Big Chill. The Placid Casual
I hope R&L aren't even thinking about Jay-Z, he bored the hell out of me when I saw him, and stopped playing 'Hard Knock Life' or whatever it's called when people didn't sing along

thewayiam
Yeah I know, I'm not disputing the point, it's just that I see you mention it every time he's discussed. Edited September 6, 2013 by thewayiam
Yellow_Fellow
No one mentions Pearl Jam the entire thread. Gazza just chooses to use them as an example. #WhyGazzaWhy

Mouseboy11
I like how Gazza spends most of his time debating and arguing over a lineup for a festival he likes to tell everyone he no longer has any interest in attending. Com Truise
Has anyone mentioned that he's a massive w*nker who can't shift tickets and pisses off festival promoters who would also instantly sell out day tickets (because that claim always ends well) and is universally popular and considered a musical genius? Amy Lawn
Nearly 100% of artists you people discuss on this board are c**ts, they're famous musicians, Kanye's just more extravagant about it. It also doesn't matter whether he's a c**t or not, he's playing hip-hop music, not taking your nan to church.
justanothername
If he played he would give me a reason to visit one of the other stages and that is the only good thing I could see to come out of it. I think he would also bring more twats than Eminem too with him.
