La Roux!? wahhhh

i think Bestival is gonna be a 'if i can afford it i'll go, if not i won't be too bothered' affair

i thought seeing Outkast at Wireless would stop me from wanting to go to Bestival all together, but they only played for an hour, missed out some great songs, and the crowd was utter shite, so i still want to see them amongst people who love them as much as me and will show it rather than a crowd waiting for Hey Ya

yeah i'm still not won over by the lineup as a whole. there's definitely a select few acts there that i'd love to see, but overall it seems to have taken a sizeable step down from 2011 / 2012's lineups. who knows why - availability of acts and exclusivities is probably a big factor. real shame as i thought Bestival was gonna take a massive step up to the heights of other major festivals. it's still the best festival after Glastonbury imo (atmosphere wise), but a number of factors (lineup, price, pain in the arse location) hinder it quite a bit

Thanks for that :), looks good I'll assume theres no mainstage on thursday hence why beck is in the big top.

I heard that on sunday it was major lazer subbing chic and that the big top goes on into the late hours, so with that in mind is it more probable or less probable that chvrches would clash with either of chic or major lazer? Would love to see all 3. Likewise with caribou disclosure and outkast

Sorry, I haven't got a clue what time Chvrches and Caribou will be on. And yes, Major Lazer are subbing Chic, with Nicky Siano DJing during the changeover.

Actually, I believe Friday night in the Big Top has:

Midnight - The 2 Bears

1:15ish - DJ to be announced

2:30ish - La Roux

- So Caribou probably will be on earlier and clash with OutKast or Disclosure.

Caribou/outkast would be the worst possible clash

I agree. I'm hoping Caribou will be on after The 2 Bears & I don't think La Roux will be on anywhere near as late as 2:30 either.

I think it will be something more along the lines of:

La Roux: 10:45

The 2 Bears: 12:00

DJ (either one previously announced or still to be confirmed) 1:20

Caribou: 2:30

FOALS!

I was looking at the website yesterday, all the different areas seem so great and the lineup is really doing it for me....I just can't make up my mind if I cba with another camping festival this year still :P...I really need to decide soon!

You are in for a treat with Daniel Avery, I'm hoping he gets announced for the Red Bull stage at Rave in the Woods at Electric Picnic, would it be the same people who run the Red Bull stages at Irish and UK festivals, would love to see this guy anyway.
