The eagles end their UK tour in Liverpool on the 26th June

I just can't see a promoter who is neding to charge those prices to keep the band happy with their monetary wants allowing that band to play other shows outside of their control which will undermine the financial viability of the shows that promoter is doing.

Miles Kane is touring till April 2013 so guessing he'll be playing Glastonbury and the general festival circuit next summer. Going to his gig next year with the other half who is currently obsessed with his current album. I think he has some good songs so don't mind tagging along

I hope he is at Glasto next year. Seen Miles a few times now and he hasn't disappointed! He has been listed as a strong rumour on here for a while now, so fingers crossed there's some good reason for that

Kraftwerk at Latitude this year were a great spectacle, but, without wanting to sound like too much an idiot, I don't think there would have been too much difference if the band wasn't there at all. It could easily have been 4 actors in Tron suits and pre-recorded sound.

The current incarnation of the Beach Boys have been announced to do shows in Londonderry and Surrey just in the week running up to Glastonbury (Tuesday & Thursday), even though there won't be any Brian Wilson, could be a fun gig?

I'd be amazed if acts like that didn't play to be honest, they'll be looking for all the exposure they can get.

Chvrches fell flat on their arse when I saw them play the Ritz a couple of months ago, a mixture of appalling sound, audience of w*nker 16 year old children getting up on each others shoulders and taking their tops off (in fucking October I might add) down the front so we can't really see the light show and Lauren looking completely out of her depth in front of what was, by her own admission, the biggest crowd they'd ever played to. I'd enjoyed seeing them in smaller venues before and their album was quite good, so I'd hope they pull it together for the next time they're around.
