kaosmark2
If noone has any gigs they're excited about, Ride, Mountain Goats, Jurassic 5, Xiu Xiu, Yo La Tengo and Steven Wilson are what I'm hoping to go to outside festivals. Guys, I got a Sufjan Stevens ticket. I'm working EOTR, night shifts so don't miss a single act (except clashes)
the wonderwhy
Yeah I'm really looking forward to seeing Ride. Hopefully get to Hot Chip the night before too.
Gucci Piggy
To be fair there are a few others I'd like to go to, but I can't get time off for any gigs I'd have to travel to and there's not much coming up near where I live. In fact, anything I do want to see in Sheffield is after I move away in Sept.
dentalplan
You can see Trust Fund for free in Sheffield next month.
Mouseboy11
There's a load of gigs in Bristol I want to see coming up, my mates are fannies though and won't go with me. There's only so many I can attend on my own.

Amy Lawn
I'm working EOTR, night shifts so don't miss a single act (except clashes) Just had a flick through the line-up, and the undercard looks really good this year. My top tip is to not underestimate Slow Club, they can be far better live than you'd ever think when they're on form with a good crowd. Sufjan's obviously the main event there though, I'll be seeing him on tour and I'm really fucking excited, I didn't get the chance to see him touring Age Of Adz because I was skint, so this is a big thing for me. Big coup for EotR to get him to headline, their other two headliners don't do anything for me (then again, same goes for 2 out of 3 of the Glastonbury and Latitude headliners), but the line-up as a whole looks great. It's a festival I always think I should go to one day, in order to further my hipsting, I'd have to get a beard and a tote bag first though. I went a couple of years ago as well. It's a great place, you definitely should go.
Mash011
Guys, I got a Sufjan Stevens ticket. How'd you manage that? I'm really kicking myself for missing out when they were on sale - underestimated how great his new album. Wish I was going EOTR too. Wish I was going EOTR too. Popped something on the notice board at work that I was in the market for one, thinking they're all a bunch of dull office squares and the chances of anybody being remotely interested in Sufjan Stevens was very slim. Got a text about 4 hours later, from some indie kid in another part of the business saying she had one to sell, seated right in the centre of the bottom stalls, face value. I didn't see that coming. Damn, that's some luck. Going to keep searching, I guess there's still time to track one down.

rawaudioinput
Shitwife are one of the best live bands I have ever seen It felt like what I imagine seeing DFA1979 back in '04 would have felt like; completely original, utterly visceral

justanothername
Probably going to go to that. I think I'm addicted to the self titled album. Would have preferred The Smith Street Band supporting them like on their US tour but God Damn are good.
