I thought it was alright. A little bit MSTRKRFT-y I suppose. The debut had Sexy Results which wasn't as barmy anyway.

Comments on their own Facebook page are quite negative. It's not a bad track, it's just average, and doesn't have a lot of DFA1979 insanity to it.

Seriously though, they've both been electronic artists for the past ten years so releasing music more removed from the original fury was a given. It's a little poppy and it's not gonna push to be my favourite of theirs but it's still the dance-punk they've always been.

Live versions of Back to the Shack (that song) are already floating about. Quite a good one addressing their shit period.

I think it'll be a festival then Manchester and Brixton or something for them. I think they won't just do one show but they won't do loads either.

Any thoughts on the new Interpol track? I didn't know anything about it at Glastonbury but the studio version sounds good.

Also, last point: I spotted an estranged Dinosaur Jr. gig in London announced the other day that I suppose flew under the radar, in case anyone missed their tour last year.
