I've been to staduim shows that have been cheaper than that and the support bands there were bigger then Pumpkins!

Yeah it's pretty wild but I guess if enough people buy his remastered box sets and stuff then he's gonna think the band's bigger than it is. Ah well.

Apparently Brad Wilk (RATM) and, erm, Mark Stoermer (The Killers) are playing in the band at these shows. Would be pretty chill if they joined permanently as Wilk is fantastic and Killers need to stop.

That's probably to lessen the amount of people turning up to an album launch show and not wanting to hear the new songs.

They can't actually enforce that though can they? There's usually an opt-out. What if you've already preordered it?

Isn't there some rule that if you want the album to chart you can't have exclusive presales/shows for those who bought the album. They always have that in small print at the bottom where it says you can email the promoters to get the presale code even if you didn't preorder the album
