Crap bands and their crap songs

First Drones single apparently too offensive for radio (stated by Matt and confirmed by someone who was at the video shooting and heard the single (possibly bullshitting, I guess)). Also new pic on Instagram has "0615" on it, which probably means 15th June release date, or a June 2015 release.

If it's 15th June I'm going to be pissed at them for using that date format

Well, unless they cancel again, I'll be going to see Modest Mouse in July. I'm finally getting to watch the band who is pretty much responsible for me being into indie music, the Mouse and I have managed to evade each other on numerous prior occasions, if we both manage to show up and bring our A-game to this one, it'll be pretty special.

Seen them 3 times, 2 were great 1 was meh but I blame that more on Leeds fest crowd being a pile of shit as usual on the main stage.

Was that 2010? I was at that festival, but couldn't afford a guide, didn't know about clashfinders and got too drunk to keep up with events. I was vomiting in a portaloo when I heard The Cribs belting out from the main stage and knew I'd missed a lot. Not my finest hour.

Yeah it was on the Friday mid day I think. The thing is, they do the pearl jam thing of changing the set list completely every show, Leeds didn't get a great one, but 40 mins was never going to allow one.

ZOAX were fantastic fun at Takedown; really accomplished music with a slight Faith No More vibe and an incredibly charismatic frontman

Can see them graduating to R&L lineups very soon

Also after visiting this year I would highly recommend Takedown; considering the core demographic I was really surprised by the quality of acts, plus you can get a pint for £3.20 in the SU bar
