Based purely on the fun-factor, (and aided by being down-the-front!), rather than who did the greatest performance…   In chronological order:   Status Quo - Acoustic - 2017  (so much fun!) Bananarama - Avalon - 2019  (loved Kylie too, but prefer smaller stages, so more fun here!) Reef - Avalon - 2022 Paul McCartney - Pyramid - 2022 Pet Shop Boys - Other - 2022 Sparks - Park - 2023 Rick Astley + Blossoms - Woodsies - 2023 Guns n’ Roses - Pyramid - 2023 Neville Staple - Avalon - 2023  (ran to this when Elton finished, way more fun!) Lulu - Avalon - 2024  (shame her set wasn’t televised - she was brilliant)   I’m sure Kasabian at Woodsies 2024 would have been on the list if I hadn’t been stuck at the side, unable to see the stage!   Special mention to this band who I stumbled upon randomly and loved instantly:   Sleaze - Strummerville - 2023

Have they ever hosted it in south England before ? 

Jimmywe has said the same a few weeks ago. Wouldn't be a great look for the organisers if this was the case. Suppose there's a chance the 🤔 emoji they put on instagram could have been alluding to have not being booked again.
