So I've just ended up getting tickets for their Copenhagen show in November as my friend lives over there. 

Just over a week before I see them in Leeds.

December's normally a cheap month, right?

It also meant I could head down the front for the 2nd half of the gig which in turn allowed me to a) shake Matt's hand as he leaned into the crowd during Apartment Story, and b) help him get over the barrier to come into the crowd and join us for Mr November. What an amazing venue! It looks stunning. The gig sounds like it was great.

Their set from Ypsigrock festival is being streamed on the Independent's facebook page tonight at 22:20, two hour set for anyone interested. 

Was anyone else at the Glasgow gigs this week? I went both nights and thought it was the best I'd seen them, the first night especially. Was great to hear some songs I've never seen them do live before like Brainy, All the Wine and Apartment Story.

Thought they sounded fine at the RFH in April.

I'm assuming a fairly long hiatus after this one, they said the original plan was to have a break after SWB but they probably just thought "let's get another year and a half in now".

Was thinking this as well. Happy to have a break to live with the previous two albums more and maybe get some side work from them. Would love to see EL VY live too if they get going again.

People on this board are weirdly obsessed with Pink Rabbits. It's average at best amongst its National peers (which still makes it pretty decent, like) and rarely features in top lists. I've just backed myself up here by looking up the ten results of "best of" things and it only featured in a quarter of them... (2/8)

I prefer Carin to Pink Rabbits...

Although PR will always have a special place in my heart after we made them the night before 6music festival in Manchester and I felt horrendous on the train from Leeds.
