See... I don't think they are. Sometimes bands dictate when they get announced, especially headliners. That's why I think its the chilis. There must be a reason why they've not yet been announced for any shows in Europe (barring IOW)

I would like Rolling stones though... it'd be pretty awesome.

But on the other hand you could be right. We could end up with someone like placebo headlining...

There's literally no news on when main stage bands are going to be released.

Anyone know how many bands were announced by this time last year?

The last of the three headliners for the 2013-line-up were already announced in December. Not sure what the line-up looked like at this time of the year though.

Last year they had a mainly British day for the dance stage (disclosure, Jessie ware, Aluna George, redlight etc.) so would like that again - gorgon city, route 94, Julio Bashmore etc...

Apart from that would like a decent couple of closers of main stage (Calvin Harris/avicii would be nice)

So we got 3 acts last week, Parquet Courts, SBTRKT & FTP hoping for more of the same this week another 3 would be nice!

Anyone been listening to any acts that hadn't heard of before that have been announced? War on drugs for me brilliant sound, perfect for a sunny afternoon.

Need to buy my tickets this payday friday then all is sorted for me roll july.

Better get them quick before the stones are added xD

I've listened to The War on Drugs too, quite a nice little band aren't they? Think I'll be checking them out whilst I'm there!

Just found this on the NME website regarding the possibility of the stones playing. They said shows in May, June and July. And seen as Optimus is the biggest festival in Portugal we have a shot i reckon.

Speaking about the latest bookings, frontman Mick Jagger said: "I can't wait for the tour to hit Europe. It's a great time of the year to be playing and the tour is a good mix of festivals, stadiums and arenas. See you there!"
