Intense research Hawky! Hope we get a couple more from T (Pharrell, Paolo, Calvin Harris would be nice..) gutted we won't be getting HAIM (playing Primevera) but still a lot of potential for others! (London grammar etc..)

Yesterday I heard a theory that is someone that nobody is expecting, and is the same headliner that Glastonbury, Bencassim, etc.

To take so much time for them to announce the headliner (maybe they have the same contractual terms that Glasto has),

It can't be Metallica because they are on tour on eastern Europe on the 12th of July, it makes no sense being Coldplay after they released two singles and announce a launch date for the new album, why to keep it a secret?

it has to be some that has no dates at all and will be a total schoker. So...maybe David Bowie? Prince? Or some surprise reunion? R.E.M., Radiohead, Led Zeppelin?

I'm getting a little annoyed with this delay...

Same (with the delay)! Glasto is Metallica, but with Beni and Optimus yet to announce I reckon it's very likely they will share the final act; RHCP looking likely, or someone crap, or someone with no dates as of yet (hence announcing them all at once and hence the holdup..)

As for the final headliner, only

Reason I can imagine RHCP holding off is they want to release the release date of their new album first... or even finish it then release a tour. I don't know how far along they are with it, they seem to be keeping quiet. Shock release?

Early January there was a rumour that Nine Inch Nails would play in Portugal, but I guess they don't fit in the same day as Bastille or Foster The People.

My question is... do you think Outkast fly their set from country to country or do you think they transport it in a coach/ lorry?

To drive from Optimus Alive to the festival in Rotterdam takes about 21hours.

If they do drive, say they sub OA and start at 21:00 finish at 22:30... pack up and leave straight away- say they set off at 23:30, 21 hours from then (at least) would mean they got to Rotterdam at... about 21:00. The headliner normally starts at 21:30/22:00 at North Sea Jazz Festival Haha... TIGHT SQUEEZE! THEYD HAVE TO FLY ALL THEIR EQUIPMENT
