I can't see it being Eminem personally but you never know. Does he have a tendency to do back to back shows? He is the sort of act I'd expect to want breaks between his shows, not a clue why though. Could very well be judging him wrong!

Last summer i europe he did Belgium, Dublin, Glasgow, France, Reading & Leeds all in 8 days so its possible, granted not quite the distance in between each of London - Lisbon the next day, i think thsi could well be our 3rd headliner.

Didn't go Reading or Leeds myself but know a few who did, and from what I gathered he didn't speak once to the crowd and *apparently* he mimed. if any of this is true, I personally wouldn't want him. I haven't paid a load of money to watch someone do what I could do with a little bit of practice!

he was flat out terrible, the only people who seemed to like him were idiots who have never been to a gig before in their lives except for party in the park (not a dig at anyone here) if it is him they better put someone decent like Miles Kane on the heineken stage at the same time

I was at Leeds last year but went alt j instead, seems be a split from people's reviews on yhats how a lot seemsed to love it and equally it was hated on the same level.

Anyway Miles Kane has been doing the rumours on here for ages do we have any substance to it? He played in 2012 about 7pm (which is earlier than it sounds) & it was a great set.

Yeah, I'm glad Optimus isn't like Beni, too many knobs on that forum! I'm still thinking RHCP for the headliner, Eminem said in his interview he won't be touring, just playing big one off gigs...would he do two in a row?

I went to Beni in 03 and 04 and think it'd just got really popular with brits then. Bumped into loads of people I knew by chance! Hoping this has a more European vibe

Evening all. I'm getting a flight on the Wednesday at about 11pm at night to Lisbon. What do you think is the best thing to do for that first night? Try finding a hotel with 24 hour check in? See if the campsite will allow me an extra nights stay? What are you guys doing in the same position as me?

Or just stay up drinking all night?

Hey, think we are on same flight or similar times anyway. We've just booked a hotel at the airport for the night, already to get to the campsite when it opens

I agree with Beni, lineup wise there's so many better options (really fancied Rosklide this year) and so many "less British" ones...

Can't help with the campsite I'm afraid i stay in Lisbon itself, from what I know though I thinknk a pretty laid back campsite pretty sure others will be able to help. I'd definitely recommend getting into central Lisbon during your stay aswell though it's a great city & also the beaches get to the beaches a couple of days!

Staying is lisbon is the way forward I think, by the time you get a tent etc it works out about the same cost, I'm paying £100 for 5 nights in an apartment in the centre of lisbon!

You will struggle to find a festival as rampant and rowdy as Reading and Leeds, they have that reputation for a reason.

Yeah, LiveAct is a comp for local (well Portuguese) acts to get on the bill, they have a final 'gig' where they chose the winner.
