I doubt they've got the budget for the libertines or the libertines turned it down. OA would surely have tried to get them but I'd be surprised if it's them now

the thing is that PJ is rumoured every single year, cause name of the festival was inspired in their song and they played in the first year and in other 2 editions. portuguese people love PJ, Eddie loves pt blablabla... but Eddie is playing in SBSR one week later.

Yes. Milton Keynes 11th July is their last show in the European Tour. Maybe headlining OA next day? Not sure, but i'd love it

Just listened to Prince's new band 3RDEYEGIRL, they don't sound bad at all, wouldn't mind seeing them.

Would love it if PJ or The Strokes played though, the Strokes only seem to have US dates lined up at the moment though..? Seen the White Stripes and the Raconteurs play before so would be pretty happy to see Jack White doing his solo stuff.

As it's only a month away I get the feeling they're bound to announce something soon though, maybe this coming week?

Pearl Jam have even flow which is alright, but i dno i couldn't listen to a 3 hour set which is what they seem to do. I reckon this week could be the week, it is a month on monday and leaving it less than a month before is bad, i doubt they would let it get to less than 3 weeks or 2 weeks

It is not Pearl Jam. The word is that OA had an early agreement with them, but they failed a financial guarantee with Pearl Jam. Besides that, Eddie Vedder will play SuperBock SuperRock this year.

Can someone explain this NOS thing to me please

two brands: Zon and Optimus (provide the same kind of services of Vodafone, for example) merged into 1: NOS. in Portugal, it's kinda confuse and a total mess what happened and i think OA organization may have suffered a bit with it - at least, OA didn't changed to Nos Alive (truly, it did... for like 2 days, after to much mock in FB and outside it they return to Optimus).

exactly, as i said before they had something like an "agreement" (or whataver you want to call it) with them but not enough €€ or financial probs at that moment that may be related with what i explained above

and well, yea, as far as is known here in pt this week they'll anounce something. the next two weeks they'll finish the lineup. last year they had 9 names at Heineken Stage, this year are 7/6, so... let's see what happens.

I'm so confused by RHCP... only announced IOW so far, still not down on their site as a European Festival Exclusive...

OA is the only festival with a headliner still to announce.. (I think)

I think its strange how they've not announced any warm up gigs in America!

Something just doesn't add up. Maybe they pulled the plug on other festivals this year because of the album? That might explain why a lot of festivals have bumped people up to headline status...

Its not looking good for this last headliner anyway, unless its a band doing a European festival exclusive performance. All other headline size acts seemed to have announced all their dates.

I do have some good news, at least it won't be Macklemore
