Linedahle
The libertines were amazing. Highlight of the festival for sure !
willjill
We were surrounded by Portugese for AM and it was quite apparent that the majority of them only knew songs from AM and nothing from the earlier albums. Killed it a bit. Libertines did not disappoint, was happy the crowd wasnt as big as it meant we could move around until the sound was right - wind was playing a bit of havoc where we were stood at the start of the set
Dom Wall
Yeah, I kept on getting strange looks for knowing all the words for AM! Libertines were class, managed to get side barrier (if that makes sense) which meant a great view.
ljb1995
Yeah the AM thing was a strange experience, in a lot of the performances we got strange looks for jumping or moving around to their dislike
Millar95
Anyone go and see The Black Keys? I thought they were brilliant and where I was stood got the best reaction from the crowd out of all the headliners!
Placid Casual 1927
Saw black keys yeah, thought the were ok but I'm not really a huge fan of theirs anyway. Best I saw was libertines and interpol. Drenge were really good as well got a decent lively crowd in the dance tent
talamana
Just curious.. got interviewed for some random portuguese thing and the microphone had a pink logo and maybe a 'K'... forgot to ask who they were but camera man was funny about interviewing us because we were english.. anyone know who these were? Dom Wall
Drenge was rammed! Walked in 5 mins before and got barrier, liveliest crowd apart from Libertines of the weekend!
Millar95
I went to see Drenge and was just casually stood at the back, it was far from rammed, infact that was the most empty I saw the clubbing stage all weekend! They were good though.
ljb1995
Did anyone have any trouble at the campsite? Quite a few people had stuff stolen around us and a group of lads we spoke to had their phones taken during the second night
willjill
Black Keys don't do it for me, never have done. Foster the People were better than I expected and was pleasantly surprised by Sam Smith - not everyone's cup of tea but thought I'd give him a listen after catching a bit of the Glasto footage
willjill
Oh and I think I've doubled the weight of my luggage in free tshirts and hood things!

Quite a few people had stuff stolen around us and a group of lads we spoke to had their phones taken during the second night we had no trouble although we didnt leave anything worth taking in our tent, only problem i had was someone playing the same tune on their guitar for about an hour at 5am, it was painful
Anderson19
Great week! Have to disagree a it arctics where I was the crowd was really good not like there own UK arena show of course but still good agreed about the portugese only really being into AM though. Sam Smith & Imagine Dragons were another 2 highlights for me sam smith crowd was really loud. Others such as Drenge, Elbow, Ben Howard, Foster The People all really good. Libertines for me though were great loved how small the crowd was and how you could just freely move around no chance of that ever in the UK. Great festival and even better city big screen in town cente was good for the football & cascais beach is really nice if anyone went. Probabaly won't return next year as there's so many other europen festivals I want to do if the lineup is good though I could be tempted. tomhall6787
Only let down was the toilets a bloody disaster They were the best toilets I've ever seen at a festival. Bit of a bottle neck getting into it especially after a band had just finished but once inside plenty of room and clean. I'm not talking about portaloos obviously, stayed well away from them
Millar95
Didn't experience any problems on the campsite, thought it was really pleasant and everyone around us were nice and friendly. I already want to go back I thought it was brilliant!

Millar95
Who do we think for next year then? AC/DC? Fleetwood? Killers? Radiohead? I'm hoping the Foo Fighters as I expect they will do the June/July European festivals next year!

I'm not talking about portaloos obviously, stayed well away from them Saturday especially they were extremely hard to get into the placement of them was shocking ..... I should have clarified they were kept clean
Placid Casual 1927
I spoke to some lads who had everything bar their passports cards and phones stolen. Their whole tent was uprooted and gone. Got the police involved who took them to a van that had a load of nicked tents and stuff but theirs wasn't there. Real shame there was something like that about. The toilets were ok in general I found a part from the AM day where there was so many people trying to go before them.that whole area was a bottle neck a few times. I would say that the site needs to be bigger, too small for 50000 people imo
