Just got to remember... RHCP have still got dates to announce. I know I don't know much about Portuguese festivals bit this one is the best yes? what I can see happening is Outlast headlining some other Portuguese festival maybe superbock and RHCP doing one date in Portugal and that being optimus alive because its the biggest and most prestigious...

PS just because a festival hasn't announced doesn't mean they're struggling. I mean it could be that but it probably won't be.

The killers are in Canada 10th July... so its doubtful they'll be at optimus alive. But I suppose if they travelled all day sat they could headline Sunday....

I had previously thought Outkast, maybe the delay is to announce their 'European tour of festivals' all in one go? Can't see them or RHCP coming over just for the one gig (wireless and IOW respectively). That's the Killers definitely out then as Optimus finishes on Saturday this year..

Bloody hope kasabian are at Optimus, them into Arctics would be ideal!

Foster the people have gigs around that time, also Macklemore has a free date on the Saturday and he's in Europe...

Ye they wont come over for one gig... RHCP definitely wouldn't otherwise their gig at IOW would be a European exclusive and not just a UK&Ireland exclusive.

I quite like Peace hopefuly they might be over for an early slot on Palco.

Foster the people recently added to BBK on same weekend so hoping we get them aswell.

Think we could we be right with Outkast & they will announce several European festivals including optimus announced in the near future, I'd be really happy with that.

Would be good if we could get Kasabian as a sub & are Macklemore & Ryan Lewis suitable to headline or would they play lower not sure what there popularity is like around Europe.

Completely different country though. They haven't got any bigger than the last time they played, and I don't think their popularity is quite as large as it is in the UK. I could be wrong, but I think they'd be a last ditch headliner if they are booked to headline. I think they'll play Super Bock Super Rock however.
