It seems that most people have omitted the 2 albums which seems to be in almost all publication's top 3 albums of the year (Kanye & Vampire Weekend). Did you all just find them crap or not that good? I thought Vampire Weekend's latest effort in particular was something special

I found Modern Vampires was good but it's not in my top 5 - similar to PTSA. There's about 10+ albums that I'd put above anything from 2012 and maybe 2011, it has been a ridiculously strong year.

Also, I thought Yeezus was average.

MVOTC was great, got me into VW but there were albums I preferred a lot more.

Yeezus got boring after 3 or so listens, and I love Kanye's stuff. Disappointing really.
