Matt42
That's why I included Elbow. I felt I didn't have many sub acts on my list and thus threw Elbow in there.
DomDom1984
I'd be inclined to agree with that. Thought they were inoffensive last time, but dull. Crowd was one of the smaller crowds I seen for a big act at main stage that year as well. I just wandered into the circle and then wound up about three rows from the front with barely any effort. mattrik3
They have headlined sonisphere and reading and leeds they are more than worthy of headlining and deserve their crack at titp where they have worked their way through the bill but if u dont like them surely you would want someone good against them and not skrillex

teendy
So are we certain that the Saturday headliners are not Biffy/Harris? I know all the arguments have been made about it being said that it is an 'international' act, but it would be unsurprising for the organisers to try and pass off Biffy and Calvin Harris as some sort of dream line up for the Saturday. Disappointing, yes, but unsurprising, sadly no.
DomDom1984
They don't really need to "pass off" Calvin Harris as a big international name, as that's what he is. Disappointing that they'd look at a fourth year in a row for him, but he's a ticket shifter, fits the criteria and T a co-headline with Biffy Clyro would do pretty well, and would also give us at least one first time headliner. Matt42
I think they've wanted to get him to headline for a long time, now they are just gonna do it I reckon. Two scottish headliners in one year is a pretty good thing for a Scottish festival, due to the lack of valid scottish headliners around! PatsInThePark
The more I get my hopes up about seeing Eminem again the more my mind starts telling me to remember how disappointed I may be in a few weeks time based on past high hopes before announcements. PatsInThePark
I'd be very disappointed if he played again. Very, very average mime act.
DomDom1984
I wouldn't be surprised to see Dropkick Murphys on the lineup somewhere. Whether it be an afternoon tent slot or headlining Transmissions or something, but I can see them turning up.

iainscott
And that's exactly what is great about music, differences in opinions. He put in an amazing performance at summer sessions and there was no miming. When he's on form there isn't much artists in the world bigger than him. DiegosLeftHand
He was great at T in '10 despite miming, but he was helped a good bit by having D12. Summer sessions he was very poor, he mimed through a lot of it last year, and only played 50 mins including the encore. Wouldnt be too excited to see him for a 3rd time. Matt42
I'd still like to see him though... It's looking like he may be wrapping up slim shady once and for all soon... I won't be surprised if they grabbed him on his "Rapture Tour" because they feel they may not get another opportunity.

TheHiddenPassenger
I fell into that "oh I have to see him this will be my only chance" trap back in 2010 and it was the biggest festival regret I made, he was absolutely shocking.. and to think I missed The Prodigy for that shit
