Hi I've been to both Reading and Shambala and I'd say it depends what you go to a festival for. If you go to listen to lots of acts including many mainstream breakthrough and international artists then Reading or Leeds is your thing. Shambala's line-up just won't match it.

If you go for the festival experience aren't bothered who you see but want to dance, participate, have fun, and have a crazy weekend that excited the senses then probably Shamabala is more up your street.

If you like fizzy lager, a choice of 2 real ales, or like drinking from cans in the campsite and that rubbish alcopop apple atrocity labelled as cider then Reading/Leeds is for you. If you like a wide choice of ales, real ciders and some quirky pub venues then Shambala is for you.

Turbo folk music goes in your ears and feels nice but doesn't go crusty and smell. Yoghurt goes in your mouth, you can put it in your ears and feels nice but it will go crusty and start to smell.

I thank you.
