viberunner
Can you remember what the additional cost (roughly) was, and was it worth it? Any problems or good facilities? thanks!!
ramragon
Can't find the prices of last year's lodges anywhere mate, the 2012 prices were The Deer Lodge / Bell Tent 4 people £395 / Bell Tent 6 people £595 / Tipi 6 people £795 There was a luxury yurt option which was more expensive again but that will give you a rough idea if u add a bit on for yearly growth. Sure there were a few people on here that got em this year an were disappointed.

ramragon
Found this on the feedback thread - The Deer Lodge - Shocking - poor organisation, numerous tents that leaked, most of the recpetion services removed. toliets reduced by 60% but numbers of tents up by 3 fold. No showers again in Deer Lodge area despite complaint last year. No food outlets as there was last year. Overall a poor show for those who pay a little more. Needless to say I and alot of other people we spoke to wont be booking this option next year
Pooly JP
We stayed in a 4 person bell tent which was either £295 for just tent or £395 with airbeds, bedding and little table. The last night when it was pouring down a but of water did start to come in if you brushed against the inside of the tent and one of the airbeds went flat. Reception replaced the bed straightaway but understand other peopke did have problems with no staff being there at times. I thought it was worth the money not having to set all the tent gear and stuff up and also had loads of space around the tent. Not sure how the tent would of coped with a few more outbreaks of heavy rain but overall i was happy with it and will be looking to book again this year if they ever become available. Pooly JP
Still no sign of Deerlodge tents going on sale still just asking to register interest on website. Anyone think they might be looking to do away it and use the field for more camping or Emperors camping? Might fit with rumours of increased capacity.
