I'll bet, the description of wear old clothes and that protective clothing and facemasks provided for the gig. Plus cameras and phones will be taken off you till after the gig sounds good to me. If it was closer than halfifax I would have been so tempted but with transport and a hotel you were talking an extra couple of hundred from up here. Plus plans on Sunday meant a no go. Be a once in a lifetime gig experience.....

dont get me wrong a decent album in the late 90s and one good tune written by coldplay in the mid 00's!

They done fuck all with there talent never reached their potential and not worthy of being a headliner anywhere .

The festival needs to steer clear of washed out 90's indie bands looking for a pay cheque have we not seen enough of that type of uninspiring crap we been spoon fed this year !

To be fair I was pissed last night aye !

Think you're being a bit harsh on them, they've got a decent back catalogue and could quite easily fill a slot further down the card to pad it out a bit. I agree with the headlining bit, Kendal should attract a bigger act to headline but you could imagine them quite happily headlining the likes of solfest if it was on and smaller festivals.

Who would you like to see them book to pad the card out ?

You missed this year so you probs won't understand what I'm about to say !

The festival has to start booking some strong current bands for the main stage , it's pathetic ! I always stand on the hill to take in the main stage this year I gotta say apart from Friday night the crowd down below just didn't get what they were seeing so many bands lost the crowd through out their sets !

What's the point in turning it into an old farts fest with mancunian cock ends that have a madchester hair doo ! Festival smart arses that think it's amazing cos there's real ale and they just had an asda smart price BBQ back in emperor ! !!!! Yapping on ohhh we got our own entrance in emperor you know. We so special it's the spirit of Glastonbury !!!!! Crock of shit ! The other thing that does my head in with them type is ,why take your kids if all your gonna say to them is no you can't have this and you do that but they spend money at the bar all weekend ! !!!

All I want is to see is the crowd understand the music this year they didn't and if any one disagrees with me that the crowd didn't get it they are lying cock ends !

The festival needs to think about the 18 to 25 year olds where the energy and life of the festival comes from !

But given the fact they bin selling tickets since feckin august I can't see owt changing cos if they had confidence in getting decent bands they wouldn't be trying to win the world record for longest pre sale !

That's why I'm sat on the fence on whether I go next year !

Erasure Sunday night would be a class headliner ........ Give a little respect cnumbty !

I'm an old fart ! And I'm not passionate most of my comments are with a certain amount of bravado cnumbty ,but it's good to know you an Dappy get where I'm coming from !

I guess cos most folk refer to 2012's line up it was a perfect mix , maybe there just wasn't any decent available bands this year and I'm being harsh !

I guess only time will tell and we will find out early next year when it's line up time .

Until then I'm still sat on the fence , but defo be seeing you at wickerman cnumbty !
