westwardhoboy
Hi guys. Probably going to book for BD 2014. First time, been to plenty of other festivals so just one question. Yes, the newbie question. Is there an "arena" and can you take your own booze in? Sorry, I have looked and found conflicting information. Thought I would ask those in the know! Thanks in advance. Popsider75
Yes you can take your own ale in both in the camp site and where the stages are. The prices on site are a bit more reasonable than the average festival too. A real ale brewery runs the bars and it was around £3.30 a pint last year. radish
No separation of 'arenas', and like popsider says the bars on site are reasonable as well. This year it was £3.50 a pint, good selection of ales and ciders, £3 a pint for a local cider, £3.50 for a spirit and mixer, £5 for a really rather good cocktail or frozen cocktail. All win.
