Yeah i gave the album you recommended in your sig a listen. I thought it was excellent and have subsequently ordered both that and Fun Trick Noisemaker as that was also highly rated. Thanks for the recommendation

I don't think I have, no. I saw a video of some festival Oasis were supposed to be headlining when they split, with Bloc Party subbing, and Kele called them "two jumped up imbreds" or something. Unless I dreamt that. That was funny.

Ha! I wouldn't be surprised, Kele slags them off quite often. I read one interview where he got posed a question about their middle class image, and then started ranting about how Oasis' wilful idiocy is an example of everything that is wrong with our society, and that they're perpetuating kids skiving school etc.

Let me know what Fun Trick Noisemaker is like, I've got 2 of their albums and heard another but not that one. Might have to check it out.

I think it's the first album and as the Travellers in Space (is that what it's called?) album is the last one, i wanted to get an album from a different era of the band. Also, as far as i could tell, it seems to have received good reviews relative to a lot of their albums so i'm pretty excited to hear it.

Yeah, Travellers in Space and Time. I think most of their ones I've got are more recent ones, so I'll need to see what their earlier stuff is like at some point.

A Cursive album I haven't listened to yet arrived yesterday actually. Need to give that some play.
