Entirely on subject is there a shitter phrase or acronym than EDM? And when the fuck did people start using it seriously? It was always dance music, and now people seem to be calling it EDM? What happened, did the Charleston, Waltz and Running Man file a lawsuit arguing part ownership of the phrase 'dance music' and force the addition of 'electronic'? Fucking EDM w*nkers.

On Franz Ferdinand, they're subbing The National at that 6 Music thing, so that can't bode well for them getting a decent slot at R&L, surely? Then again, they're playing above Jake Bugg and Bombay, so on the whole I reckon they're 3rd down sized, or NME headliners.

Also, Bombay are playing a lower slot there than they did at R&L 2012. Does that mean this festival is bigger than R&L and The National are too big to headline R&L?
