Thanks for posting, as I had no idea of it's existence before you had. I have just bought two tickets for it. Should be a lovely little event to end the festival season with.

I went to Something Else In The Dean in 2013. Reminded me of the first "side of a pub" Bearded Theory, size, vibe, etc.

Superb local ales, including a couple of "proper strength" ones, and I would expect the cider was of a similar quality, and good value pricing.

One word of warning, Gail has a strict capacity and has no intention of growing any bigger. Make no mistake, tickets will sell out, so if you want to check these great little gatherings out, don't hang around!

Yeah first I heard about it was via the tea tent at Bearded, but never got round to going. Am well up for it this year, so will be getting tickets as soon as, looks a really cool little fest, thanks for the advice

I bought another two tickets for the Dean one last night for a couple of friends. I don't know for sure if they can go yet, but didn't want to take the chance of tickets having run out seeing as there's a maximum capacity of 500.

Nope, the regular one got recommend by a chap I met at Bearded Theory 2012 (and a few others since!) This one isnt a million miles away and has two acts that Ive paid lots of money to travel and see before now so reckon £30 is a bargain!

Think it might mean two in two weekends though - not sure I can take that level of abuse!

Yes, I've only heard good things about it. I've never been to a festival this small before, but am really looking forward to it. Should be nice and cosy with just 500 people.
