Now waking up out of my winter GLASTO hibernation to find we could have anything from Elton to zeppelin to the eagles to Metallica. Strewth! Was there another year were we get so many outside bets being placed this late...?

And I would like to see more rock/metal for a change , so wouldn't say no to a newish combo called DEHAAN (if they haven't changed their name yet) perhaps as a last minute late morning addition on the other stage.. They are not tied to an exclusive sonisphere performance either ;-)

Super Bowl sunday in america, the big american football championship. first tv show immediately after the game - & marketed heavily throughout the game - was a sitcom called "New Girls" and it featured Prince making an appearance throughout, even performing...I thought that surely it was the perfect opportunity - a US audience, all well-versed in Glastonbury - to announce that he was headling the Pryramid on Saturday, while hinting that Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters and Elbow (whom he'd never heard of before) were the 2 acts on before him. Somehow he didn't mention a thing...
