The Space To Put Predictions And Then Provide Feedback Or Bold Bands If You Want To Show People Who You Like Thread

Jungle are playing same venues as Catfish but Catfish are selling them out, all of them. Their entire tour is sold out.

And yeah I think with Metallica headlining we can expect a lot more metal. Last time they headlining they had a lot of metal supports

Jungle are playing a few bigger venues and have sold pretty much all but a couple of them. It's not all about ticket sales either but yeah, it could go either way but I just reckon Jungle are bigger.

As Will said, there were many more metal acts at the festival back in those days. There aren't even any obvious metal acts for the upper reaches of the main stage that are actually touring or available. Deadpheasant has predicted A7X and BMTH for instance, and neither look to be touring. Metallica extend out of purely metal circles anyway so I wouldn't see it being a problem.

BMTH will be touring as they will most likely have a new album out around Leeds Fest time as Drown is expected to lead onto that, as for A7X, idk if they'd be willing to give up headline status so soon, I love them so I'd love it to happen but idk, I completely expect BMTH to be at Leeds fest though along with All Time Low as they have a new album out soon so will be touring with that, and there's no other festival they could really do

Jesus christ that's R&L

Actually I don't think it's so bad in those slots compared to other recent years.

I'd watch The Libertines, The Vaccines, Royal Blood, Metallica, Weezer, Peace, Frank Turner, The Gaslight Anthem, Jamie T and Refused, as much as I wouldn't be reyt bothered about some of them.

There'll be some Run the Jewels action and some Baby Godzilla-esque bollocks elsewhere anyway.
