Yeah I don't know if I was a bit harsh on Bloc Party, but I was surprised when The Wombats headlined FR last year and I'd say Bloc Party are now similar in terms of hype/popularity so I think it could happen.

Yeah I don't know if I was a bit harsh on Bloc Party, but I was surprised when The Wombats headlined FR last year and I'd say Bloc Party are now similar in terms of hype/popularity so I think it could happen.

The Wombats are 2nd down on the NME stage this year, which is similar to Bloc Party, so a FR headline slot may be possible

Bloc Party fresh of a (poor) comeback, playing shows across Europe in late summer including the weekend of R&L, I see no reason why they'd be booked next year if they aren't there this year.
