I doubt they’d even make it into the conversation 

The age old adage - the farms bloody massive.   I don’t like The 1975, would rather a different headliner, but at the same time they’re big enough to headline and undoubtably will get an audience.   Just gives me a chance away from the Pyramid, the rest of the moaning brigade don’t have to watch him either.

Amon Amarth will either headline Second or play third down Main next time they play, I’m sure.    Nobody knows how it’s selling unless they’re involved. I wish people wouldn’t say ‘x festival isn't selling well’ because the reality is, us regular folk don’t really have any idea.    Download has only been 100k+, what, two or three times? 70,000 capacity is fine. 

The Sound is just such a wonderfully unabashed pop song. For me, it's a slam-dunk closer, though it has only ended a show once since the pandemic. Bit of a strange one.

I'm struggling to understand what you're getting at there. Does an act have to send shockwaves through the industry to earn... what? Pyramid headliner worthiness? How are we measuring shockwaves? Pure commercial power? Live credibility? Genre reinvention?
