I think the size of The 1975's crowd will depend on who's playing elsewhere at same time. If it's Charli xcx, Nick Cave, Pulp or prodigy etc then will likely be a lot smaller than if it's Loyle Carner.
I thought Crystal Palace Park was 15,000? Also they’ve got Weezer co-headlining or supporting (not sure what it’s being billed as, but they’re a much bigger support than Korn had).
Regardless, I do agree that Download will be looking at Deftones as a potential headliner in future years. We can probably put Limp Bizkit, NIN and The Smashing Pumpkins comfortably in that bracket now too.

Fontaines DC sold out a 40,000 event this Summer, they would have been way off that the year before. That's the point - their star is rising fast. That they have headliner stage presence doesn't hurt too.
