In a lot of rural places they have done this for along time. Where we live in Wales 3 piggybacks off the local Vodaphone mast and so we get a really good signal even though on the 3 website it tells us the signal is poor.
The posters are clearly missing a headliner. No idea what they are playing at.
"Come to our festival, we've only got two headliners so don't forget to buy a 3 Day ticket."
Unless they plan to go BIG on day tickets for the other day. Coldplay, AC/DC or whatever and treat it as a case of "hey we've got this event too".
Madness
Strange.
Think about fourth down Pyramid would be right for an act like them, but Glastonbury seems to largely miss out on all of these new wave/synth pop acts from the 80s (Erasure, Human League, Duran Duran etc) and they always seem to take more prominent slots at other festivals like IOW instead. Maybe Glastonbury’s payday just isn’t worth it to them.
Yeah it wasn’t my thing so I didn’t go but I thought it was gonna go down really well tbh, although I suppose she’s a bit of a ‘basic’ DJ and most people weren’t keen to be up so early for it after only getting back to their tents a few hours earlier. Hardly something you’re gonna massively regret missing if you decide to have a lie in or stay at your tent, unlike an actual live band.
