Amy Lawn
Flaming Cactus at the Other Stage did an alright Burrito, although I did have to ingest it in seconds before the rain dissolved it.
Festiboi69
I mustve gone to the wrong one... think it was near west holts. I asked for jalapenos and ended up finding a bunch of em all squashed into one layer, ended up taking one huge bite of them by accident
Winslow Leach
I like the Tor rugby club burrito which comes with a drink and some nachos. Can't remember the price but all in it's a very good deal. Where's this one? Was on the lookout for a good burrito last year.
JoeyT
I think it may even be the first food place on the left hand side of the track if you were walking to Williams Green from the ciderbus (it's literally next door to the ciderbus) Don't get me wrong it's probably not the best burrito on site but for the amount you get and with the free drink it's great and it's also supporting a local rugby club. Mouseboy11
Friend of mine at Bristol UWE has got herself an interview with George Ezra after his gig yesterday night, I told her to ask him about Glasto.. awaiting a reply to see if she got anything back. Out of interest do you know how she got it? I've been looking to write for the uni paper...

Amy Lawn
This ruby club place sounds decent, it's on my list of places to visit this year NFiR NFC.

Yeah, but for the free drink and nachos I'd sacrifice a little bit of quality. A burrito is still a burrito, and you can't ask for more than that. the wonderwhy
Out of interest do you know how she got it? I've been looking to write for the uni paper... The Uni paper should hopefully have leads within the local venues. They're the best people to make initial contact with.
kemosabe
Not helpful to anyone but this is my favorite thread on efestivals, it is the agent calender in the lead up to Christmas (line up Announcement day) and it makes me excited for the festival so thanks everyone and keep going! Divein
Just spoke to Alt J in Copenhagen asked if the were headlining the other stage. They said nothing had been confirmed yet and they didn't know where they were playing. Sounds like they are playing though
Gucci Piggy
Just spoke to Alt J in Copenhagen asked if the were headlining the other stage. They said nothing had been confirmed yet and they didn't know where they were playing. Sounds like they are playing though Always find it interesting when we hear things like this. We so often go on about how, for example, "alt-J won't play lower than Other headline", and how loads of other acts won't play below a certain slot, and so often bands don't even know where they're playing, and don't seem to care that much. It's like we put more thought into where a band will be placed than the band themselves do.
kalifire
It's like we put more thought into where a band will be placed than the band themselves do. Oh, definitely. That's the nature of a forum like this though, and part of what makes it so great! It's often the band that draw the crowd, not the stage - especially when a band is established and has a following. I'd be surprised to see Alt-J play lower than Other but it's possible.

FakeEmpire
It's not the band though, is it? It's the booking agents. alt-J might not care about headlining Other, The Vaccines might not care about taking sub slots and working up to headliners but that's the booking agent's jobs. If alt-J do play a slot lower than Other headliner then their booking agent hasn't done their job properly.

LondonTom
If alt-J do play a slot lower than Other headliner then their booking agent hasn't done their job properly. Or the promoters don't believe they are capable of the slot, or the booking agent see's better exposure on the Pyramid and better pay cheaques down the line.. grgcmnng
I saw hessle audio on Friday, and I asked Ben ufo if he was at glasto this year and he said yes. But I can't remember if he meant the full hessle audio show or just him. Memory is hazy but I'm pretty sure he said yes.
