Mezhyp1
Sleaford Mods is a good one, not sure that JPT will be the right place for them, though. I worry it'll be full of grinning buffoons treating them as a bit of a sideshow. Hopefully they'll freak the shit out of enough people to create a good atmosphere. Should definitely be a good atmosphere, they couldn't play on any of the other main stages, JPT makes sense to me
FuzzyDunlop
Sleaford Mods - I can't work out whether they are brilliant or fucking awful. Edited March 8, 2015 by FuzzyDunlop
fatyeti24
Sleaford Mods are like Pitman, except he was doing it 10 years ago, and was even funnier, and had better tunes.

Hugh Jass
They're about three nob jokes away from being Goldie Looking Chain. One of those bands where I seem to hear more about their outrageous antics (slagging off other bands and moaning mainly) than I do any actual music. Callum_96
Sleaford Mods is a great addition, love their latest album. Looks like their playing BST with The Who as well

Badlands
The Ting Tings uncles full of lager and bitterness on bad Es doing karaoke at the CIU Club, was my favourite description of them. They're utter utter shit. Adds a tiny bit of credence to that poster who's been calling some 'info'.

stutheblue
Heard plenty about them, never heard them. Just had a listen in full to Divide and Exit. Not for me I'm afraid therefore I'm out. Never seen anybody play in the John Peel tent in the five I've been to, will make the effort to go there this time. Spend most of my time in Avalon and at Acoustic. salvador wali
is that Sicknote that had Dr Conker? Yeah the one and only Dr conker. Saw them live a few times and every time they blew the roof off. Pity they split after his death but i don't think Flaspandwich and Doghouse had been getting on for a while. It never showed in there live performances though

It never showed in there live performances though my dad loves them, he has a Dr Conker t-shirt. It's sort of shit but you wanna listen to it for some reason. Untz
Never seen anybody play in the John Peel tent in the five I've been to, will make the effort to go there this time. Spend most of my time in Avalon and at Acoustic. You should go then you can realise it isn't worth the trek most of the time. For added fun, go via Silver Hayes during peak time and past the Other when someone you dislike with a massive crowd is playing. I haven't been to the Acoustic field, let alone tent, in the 8 years I've been going. I only have the vague idea of where it is and wouldn't feel confident in directing someone to it. I don't have the urge to rectify this.

You can hardly miss it, the tents pretty visible onsite. +1 for Silver Hayes (and John Peel for that matter, though I'll make an exception if its someone I fancy seeing). I feel old when I'm up that end. West Holts, Park, Pyramid, Acoustic, Avalon in that order!!!

I feel old when I'm up that end. Oh, I've probably seen it over the trees, but I've never been into the field to confirm it. I'm relatively happy to go to Silver Hayes, but trekking through it and its bottlenecks, particularly in a muddy year, is beyond me most of the time. But I don't head that side that much. Same as you Avalon and Acoustic for me. As for Sleaford, I'm still not sure, I kinda like it then I change my mind. I'm gonna give them more of a listen.
